Tetsu Kokku vs. Stein

Opening the lock on the gate, Tetsu Kokku steps into a large junkyard. He sees mounds of junk, trash, parts of just about everything, and a dog sleeping in the back right corner of the junkyard laying next to a large doghouse and chained to small poll coming out of the ground, with the chain being only about 15 yards in length. He shuts the gate behind him but doesn't lock it and begins walking towards the opposite corner of the dog. He has his zanpaktou strapped to his waist. He walks over to an old beat up sofa sitting in behind a giant pile of car parts and barrels and the such, the pile being about 50 feet in the air.

He sits down on the couch and leans forward a bit. Tetsu then rests his elbows on his legs, just above his knees, and puts his hands together. "He should be here any time now... Any time at all..." He then tries to relax and slightly calm his nerves as his hair blown by a small wind. It's silent, so silent in fact that it feels as if a huge storm is about come up, yet the skies are completely clear, not a cloud in sight.

Tetsu hears the dogs chain rattle, apparently it had woken up to something, perhaps it sensed the somewhat odd tension in the air? Perhaps it knew something was going to happen, it knew that a fight was going to happen. Tetsu then heard the chain rattle, and a sudden crunch of food. Or perhaps it was just hungry... He then listened to the silence, and continued to wait for his opponent, who goes by the name of Stein, to arrive, for their fight to the death.

Stein walked through crap. A load of junk, and metal, and more junk, and some spare parts, and some more metal, and more crap, and more junk and, some dog crap and then some more junk. It was quite an odd place for this guy to pick a battleground to be in but Stein could only imagine that it would play into the strengths of his opponents Zanpaktou to be here. So Stein grabbed his own reverse blade Katana from his waist and unsheathed the blade in an overly dramatic fashion.

Grabbing the bolt in his head and cranking it a full circle once before taking a ciggerette and lighting it and sticking it in his mouth before he actually got to where he could sense the reiatsu of his opponent. Some kid named Tetsu if he remembered correctly. Stein twisted his neck to the right and a cracking sound could be heard followed by another cracking noise when Stein rolled his head backwards. It was what he did before a fight when he wasn't expecting to have to use his bankai or many techniques. Perhaps the battle would be over before his shikai. Who knows?

Stein with his free left hand ran his fingers once through his hair and then let his hand drop back to the sheath at his waist when he saw the kid who he had assumed was Tetsu sitting on the couch with his elbow resting. What a lazy bum this kid was. Stein would have to beat some sense into him probably. Get him up off his lazy ass. Stein noticed the dog out of his perefiral vision chained up to a metal dog house near the kid. It seemed vicious and would probably attack whoever was close to it. Probably not able to kill a shinigami or even really damage one much unless the shinigami let it though it would still be a nice distraction if the time came.

Stein looked over at the kid before speaking to him. "Hey kid, you wouldn't happen to be Tetsu eh? The guy i'm supposed to be fighting here is named Tetsu or something last name Cocku. Somethin like that at least. You him? Or at least know where he is?" Stein called out still walking forward ciggerette in mouth and sword in hand.

Having heard Stein crack his neck several times, Tetsu knew he was here and was prepared. His head was hanging low, just above his hands which were still held together, his hair hanging down the side of his face. His back started to kind of bounce as he chuckled a little saying, "Yeaap! That'd be me. It's about time you showed up...

Tetsu then turned his head to the side and looked at his opponent, Stein, a captain. He couldn't help but grin at the thought of fighting someone like this, he wasn't sure if it was because he was excited, or because he was nervous, perhaps it was both. He turned the foot that was closest to Stein and kicked off the ground and jumped away from Stein. Giving them about 10 yards of distance. He got into his battle stance, right foot in front, left in back, with his right hand on his blade and his left down to his side. And by the way, my name's Tetsu Kokku, not Cocku. Ya ass hole.

After muttering these words, Tetsu Kokku drew his sword and said with a snarl, "Growl, Daibu Takushiki!" At his words, the swords hilt split into two down the middle and joined at both ends, while both the blade and hilt lose their colors and turn a pale color that resembles bones. Upon drawing his sword, Tetsu spun his body around in a counter clockwise direction, kicking his foot at the same time, and launched his shoe directly towards Stein's forehead and then punched the air, using his ability to push the shoe giving it much more speed and force straight towards Stein's forehead.

The tension between the two was already rather high. Tetsu Kokku wasn't one to get excited over fighting someone so powerful, for Stein was on the captain level, and he was just a 3rd seat. The air seemed to thicken as the two grew closer together, the wind growing powerful as Tetsu's hair blew behind him as he pulled up his sword, and pointed it straight for Stein's heart. I'm gonna take it easy on you! Your gonna die!

Stein smiled a little bit when he heard the shikai release from his opponent. However that did not mean his opponent deserved the same from Stein.

First Kokku threw his shoe at an un-natural high speed. That was an interesting starting move and as it came for Stein he simply grabbed the sheath with his free hand and swung it upwards in a spinning motion knocking into the side of the shoe with his sheath sending it to the side however Stein took careful note that the shoe would continue flying forward with a changed origin not changed direction. Which meant this kid's zanpaktou effected the ability of the air perhaps or maybe it was the ability to send things through the air. Curious indeed.

Second Stein could feel his body moving towards Kokku's. They were heading on a collission course which gave Stein that notion that not only could he use his powers on himself but he had the manipulation ability to move people and other objects through the air from any distance without having to do anything but think about it. At least that was Stein's initial conclusion as he flew through the air at the blade that was stuck out and aimed at him.

As soon as Stein began to move towards the kid with the outstretched blade Stein dropped his sheath and muttered something under his breath as he flew. With his own blade he parried in a fencing style to knock both his own blade and Kokku's blade to the left. However it was now that the fact that Stein muttered something under his breath that was important. You see Stein knew he would get in close range which worked in his favor. The body had made a grevious error in allowing his defenses to hinge in a single attack like that.

The bone blade that was knocked to the left by Stein's blade was all he had to defend himself and Stein would now fire the manifested Reiatsu of his Kido spell Shitotsu Sansen at the boy named Kokku from point blank range when the two were literally almost touching after being flung at eachother. Virtually no chance to dodge as far as Stein could see on a first analysis of the situation. However if the boy managed to do it Stein would be impressed.

It was during this final thought that Stein began to move his blade back into a defensive position in front of his body and he breathed a puff of smoke from his mouth where his ciggerette remained completely untouched by the battle. Stein spoke as he finished his movements and the smoke puffed out. A very small amount of words but words none the less. "Eh? You put all your chips into an attack and didn't even realize that you were doing so. Foolish child you have much yet to learn.

The blades come together with a loud clashing of the metal, Tetsu noticed Stein whispering something as they were coming together but couldn't understand what he had said for it was to quiet. He quickly realized what it had been meant for, Stein had been preparing to launch a point blank range attack for ultimate damage.

He watched worriedly as his blade was moved to the side and Stein was launching an attack of his own, with a quick, almost instant change in expression from worried to somewhat cocky, Tetsu's eyes instantly widened as he quickly yelled, "Za Ryouga Oshi!" He then unleashed a massive force, cratering the ground underneath him, and blowing away the kido spell. Then after hearing Stein speak, Tetsu replied, "You think that would stop me? Just because my sword was down? Don't underestimate someone's defenses and assume they haven't got any just because they can't block with their sword. And if that's the case, who here has much to learn?" He had tried covering it, but after speaking he couldn't, it was easily noticeable that he was breathing just a bit heavily. The dog in the corner now barking very loudly at the sound of the clashing and people yelling.

Tetsu Kokku watched as the puff of smoke rose through the air and said,"I hate cigarettes, and it's really gettin' on my nerves watching you smoke it like that." Having said this, Tetsu then vanished and reappeared next to Stein, facing his left side, he then swung his blade straight up in front of Stein's face, but his intentions for this attack weren't to hurt Stein, but to simply slice his cigarette in half and piss him off a little. Afterwords he vanished once again and reappeared back in his previous location, sword in hand and in front of his body in a defensive postition and he waited for Stein's next move.

Stein instantly moved to the side upon hearing the words. Not only to the side but to the side and upwards in a diagnol movement to the up and right before landing again. Some would call it a jump that was just really really high but Stein knew that he walked on the junk yard air. The kid honestly thought it would work.

Next the kid aimed a slice with his bone blade at Stein's ciggerette and it was here that Stein would make his next move. As the kid made his movement towards Stein and swung downwards with his blade. Stein spun himself to the right keeping his blade at his side not to accidentally cut the boy and end this fight early. He then moved back to his previous position and instead of taking advantage or even waiting for Stein's movements in response to the move he got into a defensive stance with a blade. How naive of this child...

Stein raised his blade into the air fencing style and then parted it now in his left hand instead of his right. He didn't need a dominant hand to win this fight. Speaking as if to introduce the fighting manuever Stein spoke aloud his words. "Let us begin the actual test of your abilities with a starting phrase that i enjoy. It's a little bit magical dontchya know. Haien Stein swung his right arm at the boy. However this would never connect with the boy being about 10 yars away from him at the time it was a nice message though, but it was true that this movement was something many people did before beginning a clash of blades. The only difference is that Stein manifested some reiatsu as he did his movement.

Instantly and quicker than the boy Stein appeared behind him with his blade still in his left arm. He was to the right and a little behind the boy when he made his manuever. He swung his blade as he ducked his body down to about three feet in height by beind his knee's. The blade was aimed to cut the boy's legs off and cut a bit into his lower hip which would cause him to soon die of blood loss. Stein however kept one leg higher up than the other leg to increase his chances of dodging to any side. The leg he chose to keep up was his right leg to keep his balance during this attack. The crater made his balance act a bit more difficult but seeing as how he was a captain and could balance excellently and had much practice on bad footing this would be no difficult task.

As he swung he moved his mouth a bit so every movement he made with his mouth during his next words puffed smoke. "Your still a pup but you have some reflexes and those are hard to teach. Let's hope this isn't how you deal with your enemies or the shinigami might as well not have even added you to their combat ranks pup."

Although Tetsu was a bit aggravated at the fact that Stein had dodged just in order for his cigarette to remain intact just to aggravate him even more, Tetsu has always had the gift of being able keep his mind focused no matter if he's mad or not. Tetsu, a little bit on edge, jumped up into the air as Stein punched the air, he didn't know if Stein was going to launch another kido or what at him, but it turned out that it was meant to be more of a distraction for Stein to get behind him, Stein was quick, really quick, Tetsu knew he wouldn't be able to keep up. Even though Stein had punched first and Tetsu had flinched to that by jumping in the air, he just barely made it over Stein's blade. "Holy shit man... A second later and I'd be in half..." Tetsu thought to himself. "I don't care how well I can keep a calm mind, that would shake anyone up."

Tetsu landed on the top of a pile scrap metal, he saw Stein standing below, in the crater that was made just a moment ago. He looked behind him and saw the dog, barking like a mad man. He hadn't noticed it until now but it was loud, really loud. He was so fixated on Stein that he had forgotten about his surroundings. He glanced back over to Stein and then disappeared, reappearing next to the pole holding in the chain for the dog. The shunpo startled it causing it to stop barking for a second. During this pause in the noise, Tetsu yanked up the pole holding the dogs chain, causing to begin barking again and run after him. He shunpoed again to the corner between Stein and the dog. He watched as it started running after him, upon which he shunpoed to the top of the scrap pile again, after his disappearance once again, the dog noticed Stein, and then decided to make a break for him instead.

Now taking off after Stein, snarling and barking, this dog was ready to rip the captain apart from limb to limb. Now very calmly, Tetsu began building his reiatsu, and said, almost in a whisper, "Kuuchuufuyuu" At this about 3 dozen small screws and bolts began rising from the pile. He kept about 2 dozen levitated, and let the other dozen fall into his left hand. He then manipulated the floating screws and bolts to split, half going towards the side of Stein where the dog was running towards, and the other half towards the side the dog was running from. Tetsu remained on the pile of scrap and watched as the dog grew closer to Stein at a rather quick speed for a simple dog.

The bolded is a Kido spell. You jump into the air is noted but regardless a flying ball of purple disintegration flying at you from a little over my chest level would be enough to remove at least your legs. Which would cause your followin movements to be void. BUT... since this fight is not over in your eyes let's just continue without that connection.

Stein was laughing internally that he still did not require his shikai in order to fight this battle. While the other man was using his shikai abilities and Kido abilities. The kid didn't seem to like Kido very much but regardless he had the option of using it and whether he did or not was only a hinderance to him. Stein himself felt like being evasive instead of going on the offensive. He was still just feeling the kid's abilities and Stein had a feeling that if he wanted to have he could have already ended this fight long before now.

The dog ran up at him snarling and barking and Stein spun his blade on his hand. Puffing smoke out in front of his face as the life of his ciggerette began to decrease notably. Suddenly though he could smell rust through the smoke and hear a quick whisting noise. That could only mean one thing and that was that he was being attacked by rusty metal. To clarify this at the same time as he smelled and heard the attackin coming his blade gleamed as it was about to enter the neck of the vicious junkyard dog showing several bolts and screws and other varies metal parts flying through the air at high speeds closing on his position.

Stein had to make a quick decision but he was very good at those and still not yet disturbed at all or nervous at all from this fight. He had a way to make this whole situation pan out in his favor. Immediatly performing shunpo to allow his speed to surpass that of the dog's easily and the incoming junkyard projectiles just as easily Stein during his shunpo enhanced movement grabbed the dog's tail and ended his speed technique immediatly pushing off the ground sideways out of the way of the incoming rusty scraps of metal and using the momentum from his lats movement and his own immense strength being a close combat fighter Stein let loose the dog who's tail he held in his free hand and allowed it to fly at this Tetsu Cocku. Snarling and biting at the air the dog would land with it's face on Tetsu's face should the attack pan out well. If not Stein had other plans. For now he was just allowing the kid to do whatever he thought would work.

OOC: Lol you're too kind Stein, but I actually asked an admin about that little reiatsu thing with your punch or whatever and he said being as far apart as we were that even with reiatsu it shouldn't effect me anyway... SO I think I just voided your little void?... It was never mentioned to be a kido either so I also believe that is another void on the matter... But just so you know, I have to get to bed right now so I don't have time to post right this second, but I'll post again to your post either tomorrow night or the day after.

Tetsu watched as Stein shunpoed around and grabbed the dog, as the it approached him from Stein's throw, he brought the hand tightly squeezing the metal bits up and took a very short side step, upon this sidestep, he brought his metal clinching fist and punched the dog right in the side of it face, dropping it to the bottom of the pile of junk, most likely dead, he then looked at Stein and gave him the most evil look he could muster up, for he was pretty pissed off right about now. He worked one of the pieces of metal to the edge of his thumb and flicked it towards Stein, adding his own ability onto the metal on top of the flick causing it fly at about the speed of a bullet. He then jumped off the pile and landed on the ground. Again launching another piece of metal in the same manner. After the second piece of metal was shot, Tetsu looked at Stein and slightly tilted his head as if he was saying, "What are you gonna do now?" He then held his sword up in front of his body, his left hand down to the side, still clutching the remaining pieces of metal. After pulling up his sword, his face completely emotionless, it wasn't but about two seconds when he vanished, reappearing by Stein and slicing his sword horizontally towards the chest of his opponent, he then vanished once again and reappeared on the exact opposite side of Stein, slicing up in a vertical manner, straight up the spine of his opponent, then he jumped straight up into the air above.
