The Captain found himself beneath the canopy of the Forest of Menos. It took nothing out of him, to pick up on the different Reiatsu. Not only that, but the menacing Menos Grande were screeching in the distance. The faster they evolved the better. A Menos Grande is a pointless creature to be around. They don't speak or have any kind of intelligence. They're guided purely on instincts, which is a shame. Had they been any different, Izanagi would've taken an interest in them. He however had no intentions of watching them go through an evolution. There just wasn't anyway of telling when these things would evolve. Unlike an egg that hatches after much incubation. There evolution didn't follow the same process.
Throttling along, the mad scientist came across something rather strange. A lower level hollow, no wear near the level of a Menos. As it neared the man it vanished, the weight of his Reiatsu crushing it. That's when a certain feeling came over him. The man felt as if he was being watched by someone. Someone was actually watching him? That was a scary thought. Yet the grin on his face remained, he kept moving forward even against the odds. His hand shifted swiftly towards his Kodachi blade. A Gillian of a reasonable proportion attacked. Its Cero ripped through the forest causing an explosion. Izanagi was thought to have been obliterated. Or so it seemed.
Such speculations were put to rest though. The 16 inches long Kodachi piercing the hollow through the head. The Captain managed to dodged and land a lethal blow. Everything happened rather quickly, and as it should. The Spiritual pressure of the Captain rose drastically. It acted as a deterrent for the would be attackers. And as a result, his exit from the forest was a lot easier and went a lot smoother than expected.
