The original pictures I got from safeboru, then I edited them, and then uploaded them to Photobucked.

I didn't know that Photobucket lowers the quality of the images.

The word 'failure' is needed for this Topic my good sir. I don't mean to be a dick but when it comes to GFX I've learned the best way to help someone evolve is to tell them their shit is shit and they need to improve. So I'll start off with your first one.

You added text to it. That's about it, but even in doing so you failed. It is glitterized which is a dangerous thing to do when applying text if you are trying to get it noticed; if you glitterize text then you must have more smexyness added to the background; and at least have the decency to try and blend it in with the background because it just sticks out there; even without the glitter I could tell it was just imprinted on their. Gimp is, in my opinion, the best way to make sure your fonts/text, render or stocks and brush strokes get blended with the background to make it look more sexy, but of course it seems you did nothing more but add text to a wallpaper so I guess my advice would seem irrelevant but I would advise you to at least put your effort into it next time. If you're going to use text make it blend in with the GFX, not color scheme wise but also using layer effects. And if you're gonna make it glitter; you're going to have to add some kind of strokes in their whether it be by pencil, brush, Smudge, etc..

I have no idea what to say about the second one. It seems you used that effect that pasterizes everything but left the Render in the pic untouched. Personally I hate that effect and think that it is only useful when you are going to cover it up with splatters or Grunge strokes but that is just me. Anyways; it doesn't seem like you put muc hwork into that one and I don't think you wanted to. I don't know what other advice to give other than. . . Don't shit on my eyes like that again O_o

I want to ask you, did you just use a brush and color outside of this render? Cause if so. . . You could have used the fill tool and got this shit done better. I only ask because it looks like the outline of the render ni the after pick seems. . . like you did this personally and avoided going near the lines so it would seem better somehow. Either way I don't think you meant to do much with this but more is what's required if you want it to look decent if it doesn't already look indecent in your eyes.

As Mrs. Claus said; I do have tutorials you can use; quite a lot if you're interested in taking your GFX skills on another level but at the moment I don't think you would get used to gimp so I suggest you use picnik to get. . . comfortable. If you do want Tuts, PM me and I'll send you a few; Don't worry they're not videos, they are merely Steps in GFX Format.

In short.....I suck and I should give up on this.

And yes I need them tutorials and everything what you got that might be helpful.
