Juketsu is a muscular dark-skinned male with pure black eyes and brown dreads reaching down to his shoulders. On his right shoulder he has a tattoo saying ‘JOKER’ in old English going vertically down his arm and stopping before his elbow. Around his neck he wears either his dog tags on saying his name and the other saying ‘JOKER’ or his 24k gold necklace that he received from his mother. He also has both of his ears pierced and is constantly wearing ear rings but you cannot tell because they are covered by his dreads.

Like every other he wears a shihakusho but with his he has his shirt out of his pants and completely open showing off his abs. Instead of carrying his sword in his belt he carries it by the string attached to the sheath.

Personality: Juketsu’s personality is steady, reliable, and will rarely get upset. Unless something really dangerous is happening he will never lose course and remain level no matter what kind of chaos surrounds him. Juketsu is a person who knows his own strength but usually handles situations with dignity and self-control. With all his self-control if you push him to far he can suddenly lose control and attack everything and everybody in sight, and once this happens he can become very difficult to calm.

Onto Juketsu’s most noticeable trait which is his stubbornness which shows itself in two ways. One way is arrogance which makes it so he looks down on most things and people no matter who they are to him. Being arrogant once he forms an opinion, he is immovable, and nothing will change his mind. Also being a form of his stubbornness is his sarcasm. He always has to put his remarks into other’s conversations even if they have nothing to do with him. For Juketsu he mainly uses sarcastic words but in most cases just to hurt people’s feelings he would bring out some sarcastic phrases that always come out hurtful in one way or another.

When it comes to work Juketsu handles most things steadily and confidently, rarely complaining about his work unless it interferes with other work he is doing. He is reliable, focused, practical, and usually always on time when he is called. The only thing that somebody would complain about his work is that he won’t do it in record time or on time most of the time, but rather he would make steady progress until the given task is completed fully.

History/Background: Being human, Juketsu was born into a moderately rich loving military family. Both of his parents in the military it was assumed if not forced upon him that he would follow in both of their footsteps. Being an only child his parents forced him to undergo military training since a young age. Everything that could be used to make him better his parents wanted him in no matter how much he resented doing it. Even with all the training he went through Juketsu was still young and immature. Going deeper into his life it appears that only his father’s side of the family is military and his mom is the only person on her side of the family to go into the military. His mom’s side of the family is on the opposite side of the law and is a gang family controlling their territory. The leader of the gang, Juketsu’s older cousin managed to manipulate Juketsu into the gang and had him fight for them for many years. Around the time Juketsu was around 16 his older cousin died and the fight for supremacy over the gang was on. Three people were going for the position of leader on being Juketsu, another being the leader’s younger brother, and the last being another one of their cousin’s. During some unavoidable circumstances that happened when Juketsu was in school he became the next leader of the gang but refused the position because he got tired of being loyal to others. His time alone didn’t last long as one night he had to come to the rescue for his family during one of their fights with another gang. This fight resulted in Juketsu’s death while he was protecting his god sister from taking a bullet.

Now dead he spent most of his time wandering the Rukongai looking for some place that seems perfect for him. Being away from the daily training he was forced through caused him to become a little lazy in his days. Taking control over his life it seemed like Juketsu has become the person his parents wanted him to be. To stop himself from getting rusty he began his daily training again. Every day he could feel himself becoming stronger but compared to the shinigami he has heard about he was nothing to them. Taking exceptional interest in their power he proceeded to enter the Shingami Academy and follow his own path. Not taking that much interest in swordsmanship, his swordsman classes didn’t go well but adding his close combats to it the teachers easily overlooked that little weakness of his. He was a moderate applicant in kido, some kido came to him easily and other took some time this was mostly a cause of his lack of interest in things. Over his years in the Academy people started to say that if he wasn’t so good at hand-to-hand combat he would never make it as a real shinigami. What they said really didn’t affect him but thinking about everything he figured that they were right. From the time in which he figured he needed more swordsmen training to the time he graduated he went from bottom of the list to the top. Graduating the Academy he went straight into 8th squad and remained there.

Being in 8th squad Juketsu didn’t have much to do and spent most of his time training or sleeping. Remaining an unseated member he had little work, responsibility, and liked to keep it that way. Even after gaining the name of his zanpaktou he kept it a secret to keep himself unseated and away from work. He remains in 8th squad up to this day doing whatever work comes his way.

Okay, a few things. Your character is black so he is either an African or a Caribbean inhabitant. The latter being more likely to actually have a military experience, otherwise slavery still exists in America at the time of 1802, but anyways, Tae Kwon Do was an exclusive Korean martial arts at the time, if anything, that time period didn't have Oriental martial arts being wide spread. Anyways, overlooking your name as your character can adopt it, try to adapt your sheet to fit with the human world timeline rather than a fictional one. I'll acknowledge the bullet bit given that muskets existed at the time, though adapt the military bit to be more of an auxiliary, and the only age you'd be accepted within the military at that time would be 18-ish unless you were a drummer. Could be younger if you can fake an age, but regardless elaborate more and you got an approval. You only have a few holes to cover.
